Life and all that comes with it.....

Wow, so here I go again with another post that starts out, "I haven't posted in a REALLY long time..." Are you kidding me? I am getting worse at this everyday! I keep saying to myself that I just don't have the time to keep it updated, but that's not true. Just look at my Facebook that I log into 50 times a day. I also keep up on emails. Lazy, I tell ya, just plain lazy.
So, anywho, I am going to try and set aside my procrastination and write more often. No promises, since I obviously can't keep them ;)
I do have a lot to update.....Nathan and I got married on Saturday, March 7th. It was so stressful leading up to the big day, but in the end it was beautiful and awesome! I was so excited to see so many faces and blessed to have everyone share in our special day!! It was also fun to be able to see the Goff's....haven't seen you guys since Seattle and Christmas!! I have tons and tons of pics to post, so I will only post a few and the rest on Facebook as they are collected!

Chandler caught the garter....yay Miami Dolphins!!

Married!

My cake!

Both of the girls were begging to get their ears pierced after their cousin got it done, so last week I did it. Well, a professional actually did it. I just paid for it :)
Hannah was really brave. I think it was because she had no idea what would happen. She was REALLY mad at the lady afterwards and gave her the classic Hannah "death stare" the whole time walking away from the place. Now, of course she loves them and tells everyone it only hurt for a minute and she didn't even scream. Ceda was a different story. She cried and then complained for the next few hours. Even today she is still lets out a little whimper every once in a while.
Chan and Coop have nothing to report. They are enjoying being boys and they love to wrestle and run around outside. Boys are so easy! No drama...I love it!!

So, it's been a REALLY long time since I have posted a blog....sorry :) I have a ton of pictures and a ton of stories, but it has been so long now that I will just give you the shortened update and I promise to post pictures later!!
Let's see...Thanksgiving was pretty uneventful...we had a great visit with my grandparents who came down from their cabin to spend the day with all of us! The kiddos loved it!!
In mid-December, we decided to rent a house for me and the kiddos while Nathan stays with some of our church friends nearby until we get married. At this point, it is a short term lease, but it was a huge blessing even though we are STILL moving things in and it is a lengthy commute each day! The kiddos love their new house and have so much room to explore and just be kids. It's much better than any therapy for them and it has done wonders for my stress :)
For Christmas, we drove down to Texas to visit Nathan's family. 4 kids in a car for 21 hours over 2 days. Pretty much enough said :) The trip down was a little treacherous at the beginning. It was the day after that HUGE snowstorm here. We decided that Utah was a better route than Wyoming or Colorado, so we drove through Spanish Fork Canyon. It wasn't too bad until we reached Soldier Summit. That's where the snow was coming in and the roads were awful. After that, it was smooth sailing through Moab ( they had snow!! ) and then on to Santa Rosa, New Mexico. The second day went by fast and we were finally in Texas!! Yay :) The kids loved seeing their grandparents again and meeting their Uncles Dave and Phil and their Aunts Starlyn and Michelle. They also got to hang out with their cousins Houston, Hayden, and baby Hynslee. It was a great visit and a great Christmas! Me and Nathan also got to visit with our friends Matt and Summer. It was good to see them!! I think that is the short version of the last couple of months...hopefully I can post pictures soon and try to get back to posting every week!!
Until next time......

Seattle!!!!!

We took a trip to Seattle this past weekend. The boys go to an NFL stadium each year and this year the girls got to go along. We didn't go to the game, but we had a lot of fun shopping and sight-seeing. I didn't know what I expected of Seattle. Maybe lots of rain and Kurt Cobain look-a-likes? It was very New York-esque and was totally different than what I was expecting! I loved it!! Here are some pictures...well, actually a bunch of pics :)

At the game it was Military Appreciation Day and they had an Apache helicopter fly-over. It was really awesome with the fog that had rolled in.....

Seattle was a great trip and I am very blessed to have spent time with Dave, Starlyn, and Nathan's parents. What a trip!!!
I am grateful that this week was a short one at work and next week will be as well. I love my job, but it is always nice to have time available to spend with the kiddos and Nathan. I enjoy every minute I get!!!
Until next time........take care :)
